What is S.C.R.E.A.M.?

S.C.R.E.A.M., short for the Student Club of Realistic Effects, Animatronics and Make-up, is a network of students (all grades and ages) who are interested in special effects and pursing a career in the industry. Through our web sites (this one, and our members only web site), our bulletin board system, and e-mail, we share information about things such as FX schooling, techniques, and web sites. At the same time providing avenues for you to make friends and contacts in the world, and future world, of special effects. Our mission is to provide accurate and up-to-date information so that it is available to anyone wanting to become a special effects artist. We invite members to share their knowledge, pictures of their work, and more with S.C.R.E.A.M. so that interested individuals may take advantage of each other's experience. Anyone interested in pursuing a career in special effects is invited to join ! We are non-profit with no membership dues or forms, all you need is a love of special effects, and a little self effort, and you can network with students across the nation.
