Night Shots
Brenda had to wait for just the right night. A full moon was fitting we think you'll agree.
Ahhh......the fountain at night. This is what the folks saw from the road when passing by in the evening.
My friend Death. Looked rather like a nit during the day but at night was a different story altogether. He's your classic pvc frame with one of the upper torsos of a cheap Michaels skeleton cut in half and screwed to the frame to accent his rib cage.. His left hand is a great skeletal hand that used to reside in the bottom of my daughters fish tank.
A little clearer shot from back a bit. I didn't have a right hand to use for the poor guy so I just used a sheet-rock screw and attached the skull right to his pvc frame. This is the skull I was attaching when the screw slipped and drove half way through my thumb. Thank goodness for the reverse feature on my drill. It came out nicely and my thumb is healing well.
The dead next door. He made another great drive by at night.
A few of the tombstones from inside the yard. Notice the maple leaves everywhere. We don't have a maple tree in our yard but there are several in the cemetery across the street. We went over with plastic bags and "borrowed" a few of them. No one said a thing. Think they'll mind if I take them back now that we're through with them?
Death strikes a pose. We got a great e-mail from a couple down the street after the paper ran an article on us with our web address that said how freaked out they were by this double tombstone. Turns out their names are Mike & Brenda too. What are the chances.
The photographer for everything you see, except this photo, who'll probably shoot me for this photo, Brenda.
