Williams Grove is a nice shady traditional park off the beaten path. There is a general admission price to enter ($1.00-$2.00) or a pay-one-price plan. Tickets are available if you use the general admission.

The park has shaded picnic areas where you can bring your own food and relax. This is a place with a considerable number of trees and plenty of shade on those hot days. They also   host many company picnics during the summer. At the entrance to the park are some old steam locomotives and rolling stock.

Williams Grove has free parking for park guests. The park is closed Mondays except on holidays.

From the PA Turnpike, take route 15 south to route 74. Turn right onto route 74 for a mile or so and then right on to Williams Grove Road. The park will be on your left.

Williams Grove has several important rides. First up is a classic wooden roller coaster from 1933 that is 65 feet high. The park is also home to a classic dark ride and a funhouse. The dark ride is in pretty nice condition and all of the stunts seemed to work. The funhouse still has the rotating barrel which you can "walk" through.

There is a nice managerie Carousel near the coaster. Also present are many other "flat" rides such as the Twister, Musik Express, Swing Around, Bumper Cars, Paratrooper and Tilt-A-Whirl. All in al the rides appeared in pretty good condition.

There are food outlets within the park including and the prices are reasonable. Many people do bring their own lunch however.
